Apple Launched Four 2020 5G iPhones with a Novel Design
Apple launched its new line of iPhone 12 phones with a ‘retro’ design similar to that of the iPhone 5, 5G connectivity, special shock protection, magnetic wireless charging, and new colors.
As expected, Apple presented on October 13 four new members of its line of iPhone phones, with a design similar to the iPhone 5 of 2012, with more ergonomic flat sides and, also, new colors.
The new iPhones of 2020 all have compatibility with 5G networks, something that was anticipated. They all come with the iOS 14 operating system but, as expected, you will not find headphones or power adapter in their boxes.

All four phones have a protective layer of ceramic nano-crystals that make them more resistant than their predecessors. Also, the entire line features the MagSafe magnetic system to enhance wireless charging and allow the use of magnetic accessories.
The 2020 iPhone lineup is comprised of the 6.1-inch iPhone 12, 5.4-inch iPhone 12 Mini, 6.1-inch iPhone Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone Pro Max. They all feature the A14 Bionic processor, which Apple claims is 50 percent faster than other chips on the market. All have an IP68 rating that makes them waterproof to a depth of up to 20 feet for up to 30 minutes.
The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max have a steel frame and come in four colors: silver, gold, dark gray (Apple calls it graphite), and blue. The 12 Pro has a new 2.5X optical zoom telephoto lens (compared to 2X on the 11 Pro) and the 12 Pro Max receives a 5X optical zoom.

Above all, the 12 Pro models offer more powerful still and video cameras. This generation can record HDR video with Dolby Vision; In addition, the camera system of the 12 Pro adds a LiDAR radar, like that of the 2020 iPad Pro, to improve the experiences in augmented reality.
The iPhone 12 Pro has a ƒ / 1.6 wide-angle camera, a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle, and a telephoto lens with 4X optical zoom. The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 5X optical zoom. In addition, they feature improvements to Night mode and longer time-lapse shots, among other innovations in photography and video.
The iPhone 12 and 12 Mini, meanwhile, come in five colors: black, white, green, blue, and red from Product (RED). They have an OLED Super Retina XDR screen; the iPhone 12 is 11 percent thinner, 15 percent smaller, and 16 percent lighter than the iPhone 11. The iPhone 12 and 12 Mini have two rear cameras: an ultra-wide angle and a new slow ƒ / 1.6. They both record HDR video with Dolby Vision.

The iPhone 12 has a base price of US $ 799, while the iPhone 12 Mini has a base price of US $ 699. And, like its predecessors, the iPhone 12 Pro starts at $ 999 and the 12 Pro Max starts at $ 1,099, but with 128GB base storage.
The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro will be available in pre-order from October 16 and will hit stores on October 23. The iPhone 12 Pro Max and 12 Mini will be available for pre-sale on November 6 and will hit stores on November 13.
