At the LEAP23 conference in Riyadh, Sara has been introducing guests to the Kingdom’s Digital Pavilion, according to state news agency SPA on Tuesday.

Sara is equipped with a pre-trained model that can identify various regional accents within the Kingdom, analyse and comprehend sentences, and then send the appropriate response as text.

This year’s LEAP, which runs from Monday, February 6 to Thursday, February 9 at the Riyadh Front Expo Center, includes Sara as one of its highlights. A significant technology conference will be held this year for the second time, and exhibitors will include Snap, Aramco, and Zoom.

Oracle, a provider of cloud computing services, made a commitment to invest $1.5 billion in Saudi Arabia as part of its opening statement at the LEAP conference.

The Kingdom, which aims to modernise its economy, invested $6.4 billion in technology during the last event. More than 720 speakers from 50 different nations will participate. Google, NEOM, Mastercard, Ericsson, and John Lee, the head of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, are among the more exhibitors.

The Saudi Federation for Cyber Security and Programming and the Kingdom’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) jointly own Tahaluf, a strategic joint venture that staged LEAP. More than 100,000 individuals are anticipated to participate in total (SAFCSP).

With the launch of DeepFest, a brand-new co-located event held in collaboration with the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), on the fringes of LEAP23 (www.OneGiantLEAP.com), the most forward-thinking tech event in the world, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strengthened its game-changing status in the global data and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors.

A three-day thought-leadership conference with sector-specific courses, training, live demos, and company pitches, the first DeepFest brought together key players in the global AI ecosystem to reveal multi-sector projects.

The DeepFest conference programme, with the theme AI Beyond Imagination, focuses on AI implementation in fields like clean tech, the Metaverse, women in technology, and more—including robotics. The conference programme is complemented by a special exhibition featuring businesses that are changing the world in which we live and work.

The Kingdom will develop into a crossroads that connects three continents, allowing its aspirations to be seen on a worldwide scale. This goal is made explicit in LEAP.
