The full battery capacities of the Apple iPhone 14 were leaked according to regulatory information from China.
Given this, we now have a clearer understanding of the battery capacities of the four newest iPhones, the 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max.
It also enables a more accurate comparison between the next-generation Apple flagship smartphone and its predecessor, the iPhone 13 series.
Apple iPhone 14
The Cupertino-based tech giant presented the newest iPhone lineup on September 7, alongside the new AirPods Pro 2 and the Apple Watch Series 8 at its Far Out event.
The renowned phone manufacturer reports that the brand-new iPhone 14 versions will begin shipping to customers on September 16.
However, this release date does not include the additional model for this year, the iPhone 14 Plus, which is expected to be released much later perhaps in October. It is the most recent product that allows Apple enthusiasts to obtain a bigger display without going the “Pro” way.
In case you were wondering, Apple omitted the “small” option this time. However, buyers may still purchase the 13-millimeter iPhone.
iPhone 14 Battery Capacities
And now that these smartphones have been formally introduced, we are really eager to learn their battery capabilities.
Notably, the Cupertino juggernaut only disclosed the expected battery life of these latest iPhones. According to a report by Mac Rumors, Apple claims that all of them are capable of achieving “all-day battery life.”
The tech giant has not yet specified the battery life of its upcoming smartphones. However, Mac Rumors discovered a leak directly from China’s iPhone regulatory database.
Apple appears to have improved the batteries of all phones save for the most expensive model, the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
iPhone 14, 14 Plus Batteries
According to Mac Rumors, the battery capacity of the entry-level iPhone 14 is 3,279 mAh. In contrast, its larger sibling, the iPhone Plus, has the largest battery in the series, with a 4,325 mAh capacity.
According to a recent study by Screen Rant, the basic iPhone 14 can play videos for approximately 12 hours, while the Plus can play videos for up to 26 hours.
What About the iPhone ‘Pro’ Options?
The iPhone 14 Pro relies on a 3,200 mAh battery, but the ultra-fast Pro Max has a 4,322 mAh battery, which is somewhat less than the “Plus” model.
Apple claims that the Pro can play videos for up to 23 hours, while the Pro Max delivers up to 29 hours.
