It’s official: Pakistan is Eliminated from the T20 World Cup 2024
Due to rain, the USA vs. Ireland game in Lauderhill, Florida, was called off, which meant Pakistan is eliminated from the T20 World Cup.
Even though everyone was very excited, the bad weather is now having the final say. Both teams will be happy with a point, meaning Pakistan is no longer in the tournament.
The match, which got a lot of attention because it was so important for Pakistan’s qualification, has been officially called off because it’s raining and the pitch is wet.
Pakistan’s game against Ireland on Sunday will not happen at all because it is going to rain in Florida on June 16.
In their first match of Group A, Babar Azam’s team lost to the USA in the Super Over. In their second match, they lost by 6 runs to their biggest rivals, India, at the Nassau Cricket Stadium.
