A few weeks ago, OPPO launched the new A7x, a mid-range smartphone that could be joined by the new A7, a terminal that is being talked about on the Net in the last few hours thanks to the leaked of its technical specifications complete. We are in front of a terminal that will occupy also in this case the middle band of the market and the technical sheet confirms these rumors and these rumors. Starting in fact from the processor, OPPO has once again chosen to rely (doing well in our opinion) Qualcomm with its Snapdragon 450.
It will not be the fastest processor on the face of the Earth, but we are still in front of a CPU that can guarantee good performance from various points of view. It will then be supported by 3 GB of RAM memory which can vary up to 4 GB in its most powerful version. The internal memory instead will remain stable and locked on 32GB now traditional for many terminals to which we will then add the expansion slot for the microSD. Moving on the back and talking about the camera, the new OPPO A7 will be equipped with a 13 megapixel main sensor with aperture f / 2.2 and a secondary 2 megapixel with aperture f / 2.4 that will act as support and help during shooting.
On the other hand, the choice fell on a more concrete 16-megapixel sensor that could easily help with the face unlock. In this regard it could be the only unlocking method given the absence, also visual, of the sensor for the fingerprints. Final mention for those technical data important but less relevant as the battery that will have an incredible capacity of 4230 mAh (ergo will have an exceptional durability considering the processor and the display not resolved), support for dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB OTG support.
Aesthetically instead we talk about a device that easily aligns with the latest market directives with a notable exception to the notch . Also on this smartphone it seems now that the chosen vein and brought forward by OPPO is common for all its terminals. Space then to a frame much more narrow even in the middle of the same display rather than what we used to see in the first half of 2018. The design seems in this case very clean with the only lower frame slightly thicker than the rest of the body and which distorts a little more on the final result.
Nothing is yet known about the price or a potential release date unfortunately. OPPO will certainly be working in this direction but to date there have not been any interesting news and to be able to communicate on this smartphone. However, being a low-end product we expect that the price can still be very interesting, net of the technical specifications of the device.
