Motorola Plans to Revive its Famous Motorola RAZR with a Folding Screen
According to Wall Street Journal Motorola plans to revive its famous mobile phone “Motorola Razr”, but this time with a smart phone with a folding screen.
The new version Motorola RAZR will be available for $ 1,500 and Motorola, owned by Lenovo, is currently testing it and may announce it in February.
The Wall Street Journal quoted sources as saying that Motorola plans to produce a limited amount of new phone estimated at 200,000 units. He believes it will come as many companies seek to launch folding smartphones as phone sales decline.
The new Motorola Motorola RAZR phone will be exclusive to the United States through Verizon, and the newspaper has not received any information regarding other phone specifications.
This is not the first time Motorola has tried to revive the Motorola Wraser brand, once one of the most popular mobile phones around the world. In 2011 and 2012, it launched phones called Droid RAZR through Fryzon.
Other companies have tried to revive previous mobile phones with their traditional design, but with specifications that fit the current smart phone era, as HMD Global, which owns the rights of the Nokia brand, revived the Nokia 3310, Nokia 3310 and the Nokia 8110.
