Finally, the dark mode of Android is coming and you can enable it manually.
Android users have begged Google for years to add a dark theme – or a mode – to the mobile platform. With Android Oreo, Google added a dark mode that is activated based on the wallpaper you put. However, Google later removed that mode arguing that it had been made available by accident.
With Android 9.0 Pie, which will be available this year, not only will this dark mode return, but it can also be implemented manually.
To implement the dark mode in Android 9.0 Pie, you have to open the Settings app and select Display. Then, select Advanced and scroll down until you find Device theme; select, followed by Dark.
That is all. Now, when you open the application folder or the quick setting method (swipe down from the top of the screen), it will appear in dark mode.
