The new generation of mobile networks could make people take less time to update, according to Deloitte. 67% of consumers say they would buy a new phone when 5G connectivity is available, according to the Connectivity and Mobile Trends survey published by Deloitte on December 5.
Of the users surveyed by Deloitte, 16% say that 5G connectivity will be the most important feature for them when choosing a new cell phone while 26 percent said it is more important that they have a good screen and 22 percent One hundred opted for the brand. According to Deloitte, one in three consumers takes at least two years to change their phone and less than 60 percent of the users surveyed plan to buy a new phone in the next two years.
The reasons that Deloitte suggests for this current stoppage in the sale of mobile phones are, on the one hand, that more than half of consumers believe that their current phone is capable of meeting all their needs and on the other, that new Models do not offer interesting enough improvements to encourage them to change.

This is the point at which, according to Deloitte, 5G would be key to boosting sales of these devices since as operators deploy the new generation of mobile networks, users may be interested in enjoying its advantages (such as connections faster and more stable) and for that, they would need a compatible phone.
At the moment there is no exact date for the networks to be operational, but in the Pakistan, it is expected to happen around the second half of 2020 and start the 2021. This does not mean that everyone will have a 5G connection on their cell phone (even if this is compatible with this type of network) since many of these technologies will arrive first in large cities and later in smaller or rural cities.
