Apple has expanded its non-inconvenience feature in iOS 11 by adding no-hassle driving while alarms can automatically be turned off when driving.
iOS 11 phones can detect when the user is busy driving and automatically prevent notifications and alerts from being received.
Here are the steps you should follow to activate the new feature
- Go to Settings and choose Do Not Disturb.
- Scroll down and you’ll notice a new “Do Not Disturb While Driving”
- Press the Activate button, which appears at the bottom of the previous option
You will then have to choose from 3 modes available for non-disturbance while driving:
Automatic – In this mode, your iPhone uses some information, such as motion detection and network connections, to sense your driving and automatically turn on the feature without any interference from you.
When the car is connected to the car via Bluetooth – “When Connected to Car Bluetooth”: In this mode, the feature is switched on as soon as the phone is connected to the wireless system in the car.
Manually: In this mode, you can use the control center to turn on the Do Not Disturb feature while driving. You can add the property to the control panel by going to Settings, Control Center and then Customizing the controls, after which you can add “Do not disturb while driving” Cross it by dragging your finger from the bottom of the screen to the top.
It is worth mentioning that you can auto reply to specific people set during the activation of this situation by going to Settings and then do not disturb , then scroll down and select “Auto Reply to” and then choose people who want to access to an automatic response.
